CHANGE MAGAZINE featured Communities in Schools-Bay Area for the month of April.
“The Mission of Communities In Schools – Bay area is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life,” says Peter Wuenschel, PhD, and executive director of this non-profit organization.

Happy Librarians' Day!

Today I was welcomed by all of 5th grade in the library to wish me a wonderful Librarians' Day!

I was overjoyed as they sang, Happy Librarians' Day To You (to the tune of Happy Birthday) and then handed me a beautiful plethora of cards and notes and a bouquet of handmade flowers!

It is so wonderful to work in a place where you know you are appreciated!
