Goforth Book Swap!

We are having our first annual BOOK SWAP at Goforth Elementary!  For each book that a student brings in, he/she will receive a ticket.  We will be taking books for the rest of the week!  Next week the students bring the tickets that they have received and go SHOPPING for new books!  We are hoping that this will be an incentive for some summer reading.

Also, be on the look out in the coming days for more information about our SCHOLASTIC SUMMER READING CHALLENGE!  We are working on all the logistics right now and will have more information coming soon!

Third Grade Book Reviews

Ms. Woods and Ms. Saad's classes have been working diligently on BOOK REVIEWS about fairy tale books that we have in the library.  They have worked so hard not only on their writing but superb illustrations, that I had to share them with everyone!  We are so proud of them!

April Monthly Report

It has been SO BUSY in the library for the last month!  Not only did we celebrate and write poetry for National Poetry Month, we had STAAR testing for grades 3-5, TWICE, and BOOK FAIR!  Oh, and our blog had 559 visits last month alone!  We are getting popular!
